Prescription Ordering

A minimum of three clear working days is required to process all repeat prescription requests. ‘Working days’ are classed as Monday to Friday (excluding all Bank Holidays).

So for example, if you would like your medication to be ready on a (non-Bank Holiday) Monday afternoon, you will need to order it on Wednesday morning at the latest.

Doctor, Nurse , or Healthcare Assistant?

When you speak with a receptionist at the Surgery you will usually be asked what your appointment is for. This is to help in guiding you to the correct practitioner. The Surgery employs a range of well qualified staff and you can often be seen by a Nurse or a Nurse Practitioner more quickly than a Doctor. This can also free up valuable GP time for patients whose needs necessitate a GP appointment.

Please have a look at the information under 'Nursing Services' and also 'Staff' to see who is most appropriate for you to see.
